TORONTO, April 4, 2013 - Today, the Hon. Jim Bradley, Ontario Minister of the Environment, committed the Government of Ontario to require producers to pay the full freight of recycling.
The cost of managing products and packaging once they are discarded has historically been an unfair cost burden to communities and taxpayers. Recycling Council of Ontario fully supports the Government of Ontario making the entire lifecycle cost of a product a requirement of doing business in the province.
