Interview Opportunity: Joanna Underwood, President, Energy Vision to speak at Pollution Probe’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard Workshop WHEN: June 3 - 4, 2008 WHAT: Ms. Underwood will speak about the emissions benefits of natural gas as a low carbon fuel for transportation with strategic links to hydrogen and renewable biomethane for transportation. Joanna D. Underwood is the founder and President of Energy Vision, a national non-profit organization founded to analyze and promote ways to make a swift transition to pollution-free renewable energy sources and to clean, petroleum-free transportation fuels of the future. Energy Vision conducts research and outreach aimed at heightening understanding of the need to end reliance on oil-derived fuels in transportation and to put transportation on a path to use renewable and pollution-free fuels – ultimately to the hydrogen era. Ms. Underwood will be in Toronto to speak at the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Workshop being hosted by Pollution Probe on June 3-4th at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, 300 Jarvis Street, Toronto. She has participated in many business and government leadership forums, served on advisory boards for the US Department of Energy, participated during the Clinton Administration in the President’s Council on Sustainable Development, served as a board member of The Rocky Mountain Institute and was a member of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority from 1979 to 1999.
