Learn how Bill 154 will set zoo animal welfare standards
and protect public health and safety
Brantford – Public Information Session on Roadside Zoos
(Brantford, Ontario) Last October, Liberal MPP David Zimmer introduced Bill 154, “The Regulation of Zoos Act,” which could help the hundreds of animals suffering in roadside zoos across Ontario.
The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is holding public information sessions in communities that have roadside zoos to discuss the implications of the Zimmer Bill, how it will improve the lives of roadside zoo animals, and what you can do to ensure it becomes law.
The next information session takes place on Thursday, February 22nd, 2007 in Brantford from
6 to 8 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 90, 21 Oak Street.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free session.
