Owen Sound tree planting workshop to help local residents reduce property taxes and help fight climate change
Owen Sound - Trees Ontario is hosting with its partners, the Ontario Forestry Association (OFA) and the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, a free workshop focused on incentive programs for planting trees, tree planting techniques and the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) which can reduce property taxes by up to 75 per cent. The workshop will be held at the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority offices at #237897 Inglis Falls Road in Owen Sound on Tuesday, February 19, from 7 – 9 p.m.
This workshop is an opportunity for local landowners to learn how they can receive financial incentives to plant trees on their property and reduce their environmental footprint.
