Trees Ontario Foundation and Maple Leaves Forever celebrate national ‘Maple Leaf Day’ at the Aurora Community Arboretum (Aurora, ON) Join Aurora Mayor Tim Jones, representatives from Maple Leaves Forever and the Trees Ontario Foundation at the Aurora Community Arboretum to celebrate ‘Maple Leaf Day,’ where you can give Thanksgiving a start by planting trees, enjoying the fall colours and learning about the connection between Canadians and their cherished environment! Celebrated every year on the last Wednesday in September, Maple Leaf Day gives Canadians a chance to reflect on the bond between their lives and the maple leaf – a symbol of our historical, economic and environmental link to trees. Maple Leaf Day is celebrated in 41 communities across Canada.
