All-Energy Canada Exhibition & Conference -- Solutions based, future oriented

Oct 31st, 2013 10:42 AM

Speaker applications due by December 16, 2013
Connect, Learn, Enable, Transform All-Energy Canada Exhibition & Conference is the third event in the global All-Energy series. The conference provides a forum for national and international experts in the renewable energy industry and energy conservation sectors an opportunity to exchange views and share knowledge, expertise and experience - with a focus on trading with, and within, North America and internationally. The event is held in association with the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA). All-Energy Canada is a multi-stream world class conference and a busy trade show. The event will expand your horizons and expose your organisation to the widest range of complementary interests, partners, clients and customers. What makes the event truly distinctive is that, in contrast with the very strong “vertical” shows within this sector which traditionally focus on a single generation source (e.g. wind or solar), or on a single community (e.g. investment and finance or regulation), All-Energy Canada engages all stakeholders in a “horizontally structured” conference which will be solutions based and future oriented. Conference Update -- Call for papers The conference format and focus has now been finalised, in consultation with a wide variety of enthusiastic All-Energy champions, encompassing the whole spectrum of the alternative energy stakeholder community. Speakers are being sought with strong expertise and a proven track record in the technology relating to each of the generation sources, and in the processes, systems and thought-leadership required to provide an effective and sustainable investment climate. Case studies and leadership in every aspect of energy efficiency, integrated systems, and transportation will also provide richness to the conference fabric, with debate on the issue of labour and skills to ensure the future of this industry in an increasingly complex world. Conference Themes: The conference is designed to be solutions based and future oriented. All conferences streams will look at provincial, domestic and international opportunities, under the following themes: Topics and Technical Categories: Abstracts are being sought that fall under the above themes, and include, but are not limited to topics covering the following technical categories:
  1. All types of renewable generation (wind, solar, geothermal, wave, tidal, etc.)
  2. All forms of investment and finance (private equity, venture capital, angel investment, government support schemes, community ownership/funding, etc.)
  3. Energy Efficiency & Conservation (management, monitoring, metering, retrofit, green building, lighting, etc.)
  4. Integrated Systems (smart grids, smart cities, storage, transitioning, etc.)
  5. Low carbon transportation (electric, hybrid, hydrogen, infrastructure, biofuels, etc.)
  6. Labour and skills (careers in clean tech/development, skills requirements, training, etc.)
