(Woodstock, ON, October 4, 2013) Woodstock Hydro Services Inc. and Arntjen Solar North America are co-hosting their new Sustainable Energy Expo Smart Home Trailer this Saturday. All are welcome to come out and discuss the future of smart grids and smart home technologies, including renewable energy, energy storage, smart appliance and more. You may also test drive Woodstock Hydro’s Nissan Leaf EV. The event, one of over 60 locations across the province participating in Green Energy Doors Open, will take place at 901 Juliana Drive on Saturday, October 5th between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Green Energy Doors Open 2013 is the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association’s annual, single-day showcase of the province-wide green energy economy. Green Energy Doors Open is an opportunity to provide free-of-charge access to individual, community, public and commercial sustainable energy projects, businesses, manufacturing sites, education programs and other related initiatives. "We are excited to have over 60 great hosts sharing their stories during Green Energy Doors Open," says Kristopher Stevens, Executive Director of OSEA. "Sustainable energy has the power to drive Ontario's prosperity. These amazing folks are showing us how." We encourage all users, producers and advocates of sustainable energy to open their doors in order to raise awareness, understanding and support for sustainable energy by providing people with the opportunity to visit, see, touch and talk about the projects in their own backyard.
