(Toronto, ON, October 3, 2013) There are three exciting events happening at the Exhibition Place grounds on Saturday, October 5 as part of Green Energy Doors Open. All three events are examples of successful renewable energy projects that are moving the green economy forward. Green Energy Doors Open has over 60 hosts participating in this province-wide green energy showcase. Green Energy Doors Open 2013 is the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association’s annual, single-day showcase of the province-wide green energy economy. Green Energy Doors Open is an opportunity to provide free-of-charge access to individual, community, public and commercial sustainable energy projects, businesses, manufacturing sites, education programs and other related initiatives. "We are excited to have over 60 great hosts sharing their stories during Green Energy Doors Open," says Kristopher Stevens, Executive Director of OSEA. "Sustainable energy has the power to drive Ontario's prosperity. These amazing folks are showing us how." Green Energy Doors Open encourages all users, producers and advocates of sustainable energy to open their doors in order to raise awareness, understanding and support for sustainable energy by providing people with the opportunity to visit, see, touch and talk about the projects in their own backyards.
