Ontario Power Authority to honour Hamilton Health Sciences for leadership and commitment to energy conservation

(Hamilton, Ontario) On August 7, 2008, the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) will honour Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) for its $48 million Energy Retrofit project. This project is recognized as one of the largest undertaken by a Canadian hospital and will translate into $48 million in energy savings for the hospital over 10 years.

Join us for an official presentation by Peter Love, Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation Officer.  

Following the presentation, guests will enjoy refreshments and Union Gas will kick off a home savings program whereby qualified customers may receive a free “Energy Savings Kit” valued at $35 to help make their homes more energy efficient.
