Ontario Nature hosts ‘learn and explore’ session at Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve (Newmarket, Ontario) This weekend, kids will be on the loose for a day of exploration at the Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve. They will learn to identify native freshwater shellfish and insect larvae and hear about the roles these species play in their natural habitat. Ontario nature staff and local invertebrate experts will be on hand to help and provide a guided tour. A perfect way to experience the Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve! WHAT: Mucking Around at Mulock Family and Youth Event WHEN: Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 9:00 am WHERE: Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve (Take highway 404 north to Green Lane, then turn left (west) and keep going until Bathurst Street. Turn right (north) onto Bathurst Street. The nature reserve is the second driveway on the left (west) side of the road and is marked by a green Ontario Nature sign. Continue down the driveway past the white house (please respect the privacy of the tenants). You may park in front of the larger house at the end of the driveway in order to access the existing trails.
