Ontario Sustainable Energy Association Community Power Conference 2009
The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association (OSEA) will host its first annual Community Power Conference (CP2009) this November 15-16. The event will celebrate the Micro FIT and Feed-in Tariff programs that will be instrumental to the success of Community Power projects in Ontario, making the province a national leader with its policy to promote green energy.
Come and meet all the key industry leaders, government officials and local community groups that are creating sustainable Community Power projects across the province and abroad. This event will bring together all the players working to meet Ontario's ambitious objectives in the newly minted 2009 Green Energy and Green Economy Act.
The CP2009 conference will run in conjunction with the Association of Power Producers of Ontario's (APPrO) Annual Canadian Power Conference and Power Networking Centre. Jointly hosted by OSEA and APPrO, the Power Networking Centre is a trade show that provides access to sustainable energy solutions and Canada's power generation leaders.

OSEA works to initiate, facilitate and support the work of local sustainable energy organizations through membership services, province wide capacity building and non-partisan policy work. They work to catalyze the efforts of community organizers and raise awareness of the benefits of community power and renewable energy through various communication channels and by offering a variety of workshops and guidebooks on topics.
