Media Advisory Attention: Environmental, News, Community Editors and Reporters Friends of the Earth launches David Brooks' new book 'Making the Most of the Water We Have' comes to Halifax Sept. 29 Friends of the Earth will release Making the Most of the Water We Have: The Soft Path Approach to Water Management early next week. The book is co-edited by David Brooks, a geologist, economist and author who has previously written about conservation and water management. Brooks' published works include: Zero Energy Growth for Canada (McClelland & Stewart, 1981), Watershed: The Role of Fresh Water in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (IDRC Books, 1994 - co-author) and Water: Local-Level Management (IDRC Books, 2002).
