Interview Opportunity Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to be investigated for violation of federal PCB regulations Allan Williams of New Harbour, Newfoundland, is successful in using his environmental rights to request a federal investigation of alleged violations of the federal PCB regulation under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. The circumstances that have lead to the PCB contamination of the landfill primarily result from disposal of transformer casings that took place in 1985 and then again in 1994 in a remediation project.
