Lockerby Composite School students to raise funds for soup kitchen

Photo Opportunity / Photo attached Media Advisory - Attention Reporters/ News/ Assignment Editors Greater Sudbury Utilities team up with students to replace inefficient bulbs with compact fluorescent funds for Sudbury Catholic Charities (Sudbury, ON) Students from Lockerby Composite School will be selling decorated incandescent light bulbs collected from the community at the Southridge Mall on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Students collected the incandescent bulbs from homes across the Sudbury region. Homeowners who donated their old bulbs received a new energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulb. All proceeds from the sale of the Christmas ornaments will go towards Blue Door Café, a Sudbury Catholic Charities soup kitchen.
