The
HOME ASSISTANCE Program is funded by the Ontario Power Authority and offered by Greater Sudbury Hydro, Espanola Hydro, and Hydro One Networks.
The
HOME ASSISTANCE Program provides energy-efficiency upgrades completely free of charge, including delivery and installation. Greater Sudbury Hydro, Espanola Hydro, and Hydro One Networks are delivering this program to qualified* customers with the assistance of GreenSaver. GreenSaver, on behalf of these utilities, will be bringing added resources to the Sudbury, Nipissing, Algoma (East), Temiskaming Districts, as well as Manitoulin Island to enroll qualified renters and home owners in the saveONenergy
HOME ASSISTANCE program before winter sets in. Qualified residents will receive
free energy efficient home improvements, and upgrades to help reduce the energy costs in their homes.
What: Regional Fall Blitz event for media, community and social assistance agencies and social housing providers.
Why: To make it easy and fast for qualified residents to access all the benefits of the
HOME ASSISTANCE program before the winter weather arrives.
Who: Greater Sudbury Hydro, Hydro One Networks, GreenSaver Representatives & Mayor of Sudbury
When: Wednesday, September 25th, 2013 from 10:15 am to 11:30 am
Where: Salon A, Howard Johnson Hotel, 50 Brady St. Sudbury
What else: Program information; media interviews (in French or English) the evening prior to, and the morning of the event.

Funded 100% by the Ontario Power Authority and offered by Greater Sudbury Hydro and Hydro One, the program offers free home energy efficiency improvements including lighting, appliances, insulation, water efficiency, vehicle block heater timers to income qualified renters and homeowners.
