Environmental Commissioner of Ontario at McMaster
to deliver Spring 2017 Public Lecture
Dianne Saxe, Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, will be speaking at McMaster Centre for Climate Change’s Spring 2017 Public Lecture about climate change in Ontario ̶ the critical thresholds that have been exceeded, the province’s current greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and what the government is doing to reduce emissions.
Although the province took great steps towards GHG reductions this past year, the Environmental Commissioner’s 2016 Annual GHG Progress Report,
Facing Climate Change, contains several recommendations to help the government avoid some major pitfalls.
Note: Free parking will be available at the McMaster Innovation Park for this event. Refreshments will also be provided.
