Premier Wynne to present Award of Distinction to Munir Sheikh

TORONTO, June 6, 2013 - This Thursday (June 6) Premier Kathleen Wynne will present the Corporate Knights Award of Distinction to Munir Sheikh, Canada’s former Chief Statistician, for exemplifying and standing up for evidence-based policy at the highest levels.
Corporate Knights Award of Distinction:
The Corporate Knights Award of Distinction is presented to leaders who have had a catalytic impact on advancing a more positive relationship between business and sustainable development. Past winners
include: The Rt. Hon. Paul Martin, Maurice Strong, Hon. Danny Williams, Avrim Lazar, Jim MacNeill, and Dr. Frank Frantisak.
