UPDATED MEDIA ADVISORY Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation Officer To Release 2007 Annual Report: Webcast Briefing for Media at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7th Cancelled: Media Briefing at Queen’s Park at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7th Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation Officer (CECO) Peter Love will release his 2007 annual report, Taking Action  which includes his 12 recommendations for building a culture of conservation  on November 7th A single briefing for media throughout the province will be conducted through a Webcast news conference on report highlights with Q&A following, Wednesday, November 7th, 3:00 p.m. To participate by phone: 416-849-6206 / 1-866-253-4737. A briefing scheduled for 9:00 a.m. of November 7th at Queen’s Park has been cancelled. This is the third annual report released by Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation officer; it serves as a “report card” on how the province is at energy conservation and identifies key recommendations for future improvement. The Chief Energy Conservation Officer and Conservation Bureau are part of the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), and work towards promoting a culture of conservation throughout the province.
