All 100 homes on Lake Simcoe’s Georgina Island to undergo major home energy efficiency assessments and upgrades

Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation, Hydro One, Ontario Conservation Bureau and Windfall Ecology Centre to make official announcement on Friday, July 7th WHEN: Friday, July 7th, 12pm/noon WHERE: Community Centre, Georgina Island First Nation DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 404, exit at Davis Drive. Take Davis Drive East to Hwy 48/Markham Road. Go north on Hwy 48 to Virginia (past Baldwin and Sutton). Turn left on Haddon Road and follow it to the lake and parking lot. The trip from Davis Drive is approximately 35 km. Cars can be taken to island by ferry. Identify yourself to a Windfall Ecology Centre representative at the ferry dock to receive free ferry passes. On the island, a Windfall Ecology Centre representative will guide you to the Community Centre from the ferry.
