Deputy Premier to speak at Energy and Environment Forum

Media Advisory Deputy Premier to speak at Energy and Environment Forum Minister of Energy and Infrastructure to address what the Green Energy Act means to building owners and managers Deputy Premier, and Minster of Energy and Infrastructure, George Smitherman will discuss the recently tabled Green Energy Act tomorrow morning. Minister Smitherman is scheduled to speak from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Energy and Environment Forum, an annual event sponsored by the Building Owner and Managers Association (BOMA) of Toronto. The Forum is a focal point for BOMA members to update themselves and each other on energy and environment issues that affect them. Other speakers will address topics such as the natural gas market, energy efficiency regulations, BOMA programs, solar PV and sustainability. The Forum runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM in the Liberty Grand at CNE Place. Speeches will be followed by a lunch reception, as well as exhibits featuring the latest products and services provided by BOMA members.
