Media Release Attn: News, Environment, Assignment Editors and Reporters ExpoCycle 2008 shifts into high gear Canada's premiere bike trade show not to be missed Canada's cycling industry is gearing up for its biggest trade show of the year. ExpoCycle 2008, scheduled for September 6-9 in Montreal and Bromont Quebec, is the premiere event for Canada's cycling industry. Each year, ExpoCycle - with 90, 000 square feet of space - features over 800 of the world's best cycling brands. One of the top ranked trade shows in Canada, ExpoCycle regularly attracts 2,500 manufacturers, retailers and suppliers from around the world. The latest, most innovative bikes and bike products will be on display. Sumar Clarke, ExpoCycle Show Manager, is thrilled by the show's steady growth and its increasing profile within the international cycling industry. "ExpoCycle is really coming into its own. It's Canada's most important bicycle trade event, and some key suppliers - Specialized Bicycle Components, Giant Canada, Norco Performance Bikes, Cycles Lambert, Shimano, SRAM Corporation and Outdoor Gear Canada - are returning. ExpoCycle is becoming a hot date on the international bike industry calendar." ExpoCycle 2008 will kick off with the annual Outdoor Demo Day on September 6. Hosted at Ski Bromont - a world-class outdoor cycling facility one hour north of Montreal - the day will involve off-road bike trials and road bike demonstrations. The trade show takes place from September 7-9 at Montreal's Place Bonaventure. Exhibitors and attendees will get a chance to see the full line of 2009 product. BTAC is also introducing a free Retailer Power Program seminar series. Details are available at www.expocycle.ca/events_seminars/retailer_power_program.html. Limited exhibit space is still available and includes: extensive promotion to Canadian bike retailers, a post-show attendee list, free admission for clients and prospects, a listing in ExpoCycle's official show guide and hotel discounts.
